We are deeply grieved by the heartbreaking events unfolding in our nation, children losing their lives in schools, anger over prayer, violence on public transportation, and yet another school shooting. Concerns for your college age students with what they will learn or even the violence currently happening on campuses.
Tragedies like these not only shock our communities but also stir up fear, grief, and questions within us and our families. For parents, they raise difficult conversations with children and teens who are trying to make sense of a world that feels uncertain.
In moments like this, we look to Scripture for clarity and hope:
“Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter!”
(Isaiah 5:20, ESV)
At Counseling and Family Enrichment, our desire is to come alongside individuals and families in times of sorrow and confusion. If you or someone you love is struggling to process these tragedies, or painful events from the past, we are here to listen, to support, and to walk with you.
